Steven Ngo, best known as Haus of Panda, first hit the electronic dance music scene in 2017. Within a year, the Winnipeg producer had his music featured on BBC Radio 1’s Diplo and
Friends and on regular rotation on Sirius XM’s Pitbull’s Globalization Radio. Soon after, New
York record label, Brooklyn Fire, signed Ngo’s single, “Rewind Selecta,” a dancefloor banger
that blurs the line between UK Speed Garage and Bass House, creating a sub-genre Ngo calls
“Speed House.” “We’ve never signed a track so fast,” said Tommie Sunshine, owner of Brooklyn Fire, who went on to support Ngo by playing his song, “Catch My Breath,” on the main stage at Ultra Music Festival 2018. “Rio” Ngo’s second release on Brooklyn Fire, climbed to #15 on Beatport’s Electro House Top 100 and received immense support from Alan Walker, who played it on stages from Coachella to Lollapalooza. At Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas 2018, Ngo was supported by Jauz, Alan Walker and XCRPT, who all dropped different Haus of Panda original releases. Ngo has also received support from Tiesto who featured a collab between Tommie Sunshine and Ngo on both weekends of Tomorrowland, which will release on Musical Freedom in 2019. Now off the fresh release of his debut EP “Speed House,” Ngo has had 3 tracks from the EP charting the Beatport Top 100 Electro House simultaneously, and one titled “Back 2 the Sound” has been featured in the EDC 2019 trailer. The ever-growing support for Haus of Panda will lead him to be one of the most promising acts of 2019
